Healing System
From Irontide Fantasy Roleplay
More actions
The Infirmary is a new ritual bench added by the Irontide mod. It is designed to support the Down System by allowing players to treat battle statuses and injuries through a two-person interaction.
How It Works
The Infirmary requires two players to operate.
- The injured player interacts with the bed section by pressing E to lie down.
- The bench automatically registers the injured player as the healing target.
- The healing player uses the crafting bench portion of the station.
- Healing options are presented as crafting recipes:
- Stabilize
- First Aid
- Trauma Treatment
- Intensive Care
If a recipe requires resources, starting the craft triggers a ritual-style animation. If the animation is completed successfully, the healing target is cleansed of the applicable statuses and injuries.
Treatment Recipes
| Recipe | Who Can Use It | Removes |
|---|---|---|
| Stabilize | Everyone | Speeds up conversion of battle statuses into injuries. If the target has battle statuses but no injuries, apply this first. |
| First Aid | Infirmary users with the recipe | Removes Minor Injury. |
| Trauma Treatment | Infirmary users with the recipe | Removes Moderate Injury and Minor Injury. |
| Intensive Care | Infirmary users with the recipe | Removes all injury types, including Severe Injury. |
Availability
Infirmaries are available in the following ways:
- Town infirmaries are available in faction towns.
- The Infirmary can also be acquired as a territory upgrade.
- Any Principality that wants an Infirmary in their keep must purchase it as an upgrade.
Healer Class Notes
- The Healer Class starts with injury treatment recipes.
- Other classes may obtain these recipes by other means, which will be disclosed in the PvE update.
- The Healer spell Revivify can be used for both reviving and stabilizing.
- Revivify can only be cast on downed players and will revive and stabilize them on use.
