Important Notice
Players cannot begin with this race; it can only be unlocked through evolution. If this is your first time creating a character, please choose a starting race from the following: Empire, Bretonnia, Kislev, Sartosa, Araby, Cathay, Norsca. Upon ascending to this race, players will forfeit all racial progression associated with their former racial skill trees.

Warriors of Chaos are the mortal slaves of the Dark Gods: savage tribes from the frozen north who live only to kill, corrupt, and ascend. They pour from the Chaos Wastes in endless hordes, twisted by mutations and driven by divine madness. Once men, now monsters, they worship Khorne for blood, Tzeentch for change, Nurgle for decay, and Slaanesh for excess. Every raid is a prayer, every slaughter a step toward godhood or oblivion.

Overview

If you want to play a barbarian warlord who sells his soul for power, mutates into something glorious and terrible, and drags the world screaming into the abyss, this is your horde.

Appearance

Tall, swollen warriors in fur and spiked steel; beards matted with blood, eyes burning with unholy fire. Mutations twist them – extra limbs, scales, horns, tentacles.

Culture & Society

  • Regions: The frozen Chaos Wastes and northern tribeslands.
  • Culture: War is life; strength proves worth; betrayal is survival.
  • Names: Archaon, Valnir, Sigvald, Engra Deathsword, Scyla Anfingrimm.
  • Religion: The four Gods (see their pages); Undivided worship balances all.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • Strengths: Superhuman might, god-granted powers, fearless hordes.
  • Weaknesses: Infighting, madness from mutations, rival god conflicts.

Playing a Warrior of Chaos

You were born in ice and blood; now you burn for the Gods. Speak in snarls and oaths, move like a predator. Pick a God (or Undivided) and chase favour through slaughter. A Khorne berserker charges without thought; a Tzeentch sorcerer weaves lies and spells; a Nurgle plaguebearer laughs at pain; a Slaanesh hedonist savours every agony. Mutate wisely – or risk becoming Spawn.

The world is yours to break. Just don’t let the Gods break you first.

Physical Appearance

Barbaric giants in rusted plate and furs, axes dripping gore. Norscans pale and seafaring; Kurgan copper-skinned horsemen; Hung squat hunters. Mutations define them: Khorne’s scars, Tzeentch’s shifting forms, Nurgle’s rot, Slaanesh’s perfection twisted wrong.

Chaos Gods

As a Warrior of Chaos, you must commit your path to one of the four Chaos Gods. Achieving their favor and advancing toward full Chaos worship demands following the doctrines of the selected god. Prior to ascension, you must choose which Chaos God you will serve as a Chaos Warrior.

Khorne

Slaanesh

Overview

Morality, Slavery, and Corruption

  • Slavery: Exploitation of others is common, especially for pleasure or domination; hierarchy is based on indulgence and seduction.
  • Non-consent sexual relationships: Normalized within the culture; coercion and manipulation are often intertwined with personal power and pleasure.
  • Vulnerability to Chaos corruption: Extremely high. Slaanesh worshipers are drawn to excess, making further corruption constant and reinforcing decadent behavior.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • Strengths: Seductive, cunning, fast, and elegant; skilled at manipulation, temptation, and exploiting desires; excels in subtlety and intrigue.
  • Weaknesses: Hedonistic excess can cloud judgment; overconfidence and obsession can be exploited; loyalty is fleeting.

Gender Roles & Sexuality

Gender Roles

  • Slaanesh’s followers are highly diverse in gender, often fluid, reflecting aesthetic perfection, decadence, and temptation.
  • Both male and female daemons (Daemonettes, Keepers of Secrets) are seductive, deadly, and socially dominant within Slaanesh cults.
  • Hierarchy is based on ability to tempt, dominate, and embody excess rather than biological sex.

Sexuality

  • Sexuality is central to Slaanesh. Erotic pleasure, seduction, and indulgence define both daemon and mortal followers.
  • Same-sex and opposite-sex attraction are common; indulgence in any taboo or decadent sexual act is celebrated.
  • Sex, pain, and pleasure are often inseparable, with extreme eroticism intertwined with worship and power.

Attitudes toward Other Races (Sexualized)

  • Slaanesh followers sexualize almost all other races, using allure, temptation, and manipulation:
  • Humans and elves are prized for beauty and sensuality.
  • Dwarfs and greenskins are fetishized in exaggerated or exoticized ways.
  • Sexualized acts often involve coercion, seduction, or symbolic domination rather than mutual affection.

Nurgle

Overview

Morality, Slavery, and Corruption

  • Slavery: Rare; Nurgle’s followers are communal, spreading disease and pestilence rather than structured enslavement.
  • Non-consent sexual relationships: Morality is warped; acts are often grotesque or tied to corruption and disease rather than desire.
  • Vulnerability to Chaos corruption: Very high. Nurgle’s influence is pervasive; exposure leads to physical and mental degeneration, though followers often embrace it willingly.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • Strengths: Immensely resilient, hard to kill, patient, and persistent; thrives in attrition and spreading corruption.
  • Weaknesses: Slow, unrefined, and unambitious outside of decay; can become grotesquely dependent on Nurgle’s influence.

Gender Roles & Sexuality

Gender Roles

  • Nurgle’s followers, including Plaguebearers and mortals, are largely indifferent to gender; corruption and disease affect all equally.
  • Hierarchies exist based on resilience, devotion, and pestilential influence rather than sex.

Sexuality

  • Sexuality is downplayed or grotesquely intertwined with decay and disease. Pleasure is secondary; filth, rot, and survival dominate.
  • Erotic acts may exist but are generally symbolic, perverse, or tied to pestilence and corruption rather than attraction.

Attitudes toward Other Races (Sexualized)

  • Sexualization is minimal and often horrifying: other races are objects for disease, corruption, or grotesque parody rather than desire.
  • Humans may be twisted into disgusting sexualized forms in ritual or corruption.
  • Elves, dwarfs, and greenskins are primarily sources of disease or ritual experimentation.

Tzeentch

Overview

Morality, Slavery, and Corruption

  • Slavery: Manipulation is favored over physical enslavement; followers often bind others through schemes, contracts, or magical influence.
  • Non-consent sexual relationships: Exploited as a tool for manipulation, temptation, or illusion rather than personal desire.
  • Vulnerability to Chaos corruption: Extremely high. Followers are ambitious and scheming; exposure to Tzeentch’s schemes often changes them physically, mentally, or magically.

Strengths & Weaknesses

  • Strengths: Cunning, magical, manipulative, and adaptable; excels at deception, planning, and exploiting chaos.
  • Weaknesses: Physically weak, overambitious, and prone to paranoia; reliance on schemes makes them vulnerable if plans fail.

Gender Roles & Sexuality

Gender Roles

  • Tzeentch’s followers, including Pink Horrors and sorcerers, are highly mutable; shape, appearance, and gender can change magically.
  • Hierarchy is based on cunning, magical skill, and manipulation rather than gender.
  • Both male and female-coded daemons serve as sorcerers, agents, or manipulators.

Sexuality

  • Sexuality is fluid, mutable, and often tied to transformation, manipulation, or illusion.
  • Acts of seduction, deception, or temptation are common; sexual identity is mutable or irrelevant.
  • Pleasure may be experienced, but intellectual and magical schemes are often more important than erotic gratification.

Attitudes toward Other Races (Sexualized)

  • Tzeentch’s followers may sexualize other races as part of manipulation, illusion, or temptation.
  • Humans, elves, and even other daemons can be lured or coerced using glamour or sexualized deception.
  • Sexuality is a tool for power, not a reflection of preference or natural desire.

Notable Cultural Nuances for Chaos Daemons

  • Khorne: martial, non-sexual, obsessed with blood and honor.
  • Slaanesh: decadent, sexual, indulgent, highly eroticized culture.
  • Nurgle: grotesque, indifferent to gender, sexuality corrupted by disease.
  • Tzeentch: mutable, manipulative, sexuality fluid and strategic, often used as a tool.
