The necromancer is focused on weakening enemies, inflicting negative effects, and manipulating the battlefield through dark magic. Necromancers typically use death-aligned spells to drain strength, cripple defenses, and spread debilitating curses among opposing forces. While they are not usually durable or powerful in direct combat, their ability to erode enemy effectiveness and disrupt battle flow makes them invaluable. Necromancers often have abilities that apply persistent debuffs, sap vitality, and turn the tide by undermining foes from the shadows.
Gameplay
The Necromancer class is designed as a support role to complement more defensive builds. They provide area-based debilitation and battlefield control, weakening enemies to bolster their teammates’ defenses.

Abilities
Mortwave
Releases a powerful torrent of shattered bone and festering decay. The wave sweeps outward, toppling enemies and disrupting their formation. Any foe hit by the blast becomes afflicted with Desolate, reducing their overall combat effectiveness while the effect persists.
Obelisk
Creates a fragile obelisk at the target location. While standing, it emits a persistent Desolate field that weakens all nearby enemies, lowering their ability to resist attacks and control effects. The obelisk can be damaged and destroyed, removing its influence from the battlefield.
Hex
Inflicts the target with a potent curse that amplifies all incoming damage and applies an advanced form of Desolate. While under this effect, the target’s overall damage output is severely diminished. This heightened Desolate cannot be cleansed through normal methods and may only be removed by dedicated healing magic or by naturally timing out.
Graft
Twists dead flesh into a towering Flesh Golem, controlled remotely by the caster for the duration of the spell. The golem has a massive health pool and excels at destroying buildings and fortifications. Its existence is bound to both a fixed timer and the caster’s life—if the caster dies, the golem disintegrates immediately. While the spell is being cast, a dark vortex appears above the caster, warning all nearby of the emerging monstrosity.
